Claire Brown is based in Surrey, on the Hampshire and Berkshire borders and has direct train access into Central London.
Claire’s career has always been driven by an interest in people and understanding their behaviour. Because of this, her career path has developed from consumer insight and brand marketing, to commercial capability building. The latter includes designing and facilitating workshops/transformational learning and development programmes, as well as talent management and executive coaching.
Along the way Claire has held two Marketing Director roles, leading global cross functional project teams and marketing departments. These roles involved working with senior board level stakeholders.
She has also worked directly for blue chip FMCG companies (Colgate-Palmolive and SC Johnson), as well as in retail and service (for Safeway and BAA).
In addition, she’s worked as Learning and Development Consultant and Talent Acquisition Director for a global learning and development consultancy. This involved working with leading Retail, FMCG and Pharma clients (Brand Learning, now part of Accenture).
Claire has experience using communication and personality profiling tools, both with individuals and teams to help build self-awareness, communication and influencing skills. This makes her ideal to deliver our Communication, Influencing, Presentation and Facilitation Skills Courses, as well as our Interview and Performance Management Courses.
Also, with her significant experience as a business leader, she is particularly adept in delivering our Communication, Leadership and Management Programmes. This helps clients to achieve their wider business goals, whilst giving managers the skills and confidence to develop and manage high performers.
Claire is naturally warm, positive and friendly. She loves working collaboratively and creating connections and to positively impact others in their personal and professional growth!
Having ‘walked in the shoes’ of many of her clients, as a leader and Learning and Development Consultant, Claire has a unique blend of experience which she uses to connect to her client’s opportunities and challenges.
Sports and Leisure
Claire enjoys eating (but sadly not cooking!), running around after her two sports mad boys, as well as enjoying time with friends and family (especially when accompanied by good food and wine!).
She also enjoys fund raising, as part of a team, for Cancer Research and taking long walks in the beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside.
