Introduction to Speed Reading

Course Synopsis

In this speed reading techniques training course (run in house), you will learn how to speed read with greater comprehension.

This is an intense, introductory level training course, designed to introduce you to speed reading techniques that will lead to reading improvements through a series of practice reading sessions using a variety of different speed reading techniques.

Target Audience

In company training for individuals who have large volumes of reading material that they wish to manage more effectively using new reading techniques that will increase their reading speed with enhanced focus and comprehension. Also for individuals who wish to do their work faster utilizing new tools to save time in the working place and at home.

Course Objectives

To improve participants reading speed by at least 33% with enhanced focus and good comprehension by:

  • Providing participants with the experience of reading faster with good comprehension in a smooth and simple way
  • Learning to read at adequate reading speeds for different kinds of materials
  • Understanding how to develop their memory
  • Learning the principles of Mind Mapping
  • Utilizing brain entrainment for best performance
  • Using software to speed read at the computer screen
  • Raising awareness of time saving tools on the net and voice recognition software and applications
