Course Synopsis

Facilitation is all about helping a group of people achieve their goal or objectives. How effective you are as a facilitator will depend upon your ability to recognise the stage of group development the team is at and apply the appropriate facilitation skills and techniques to move them forward. All this and more will be covered in our tailored in-company facilitation skills training course. As you would expect, our facilitator training is interactive and hands on and involves practical group work to promote facilitation skill development.

Target Audience

The course provides in-company facilitation skills training for group facilitators who frequently facilitate meetings and want to gain maximum audience participation and contribution from the team involved.

Programme Methodology

The facilitator will use presentation and facilitation methods to structure the course
Each participant will complete a self assessment questionnaire to help them identify their preferred facilitation style and when other styles may be appropriate
The facilitator will demonstrate effective facilitation techniques to help the participant's learning
There will be plenty of opportunity for group discussion on key facilitation topics.
There will be some practical group work to enable participants to try out some group working techniques
A workbook will be provided for each participant covering the key topics of facilitation with space to make personal notes
