Members of a management team need to be able to relate to each other, build commitment, and achieve consensus. To gain commitment people need to modify their behaviour to complement those of their team members. Our DISC profiling training helps by providing a valuable insight into individual team members' personality profiles and applies this to improve team dynamics.

For example, the board of a company must be comprised of people who will drive the business forward but it also needs a representation of less driving and more detail-focused characteristics to ensure it is not totally disengaged from the operation of the business. Yet it is precisely these different behavioural elements combined with a lack of understanding of what each brings to the board that can cause tension.

It is the soft skills (behaviour or personality) and not the hard skills (technical skills and education) that are the factors that drive success.

In this two day management skills event run as in-company training, gain insights into the different DISC profiles within an effective team. This training utilises a range of techniques to increase management and leadership skills to enhance co-operation within the workplace.

Methods

  • Trainer presentation and facilitation
  • On line assessment - Each member of the team is profiled using the Thomas International Personal Profile Analysis™ and is provided with their own PPA report. The PPA report is a comprehensive DISC profiling assessment which includes work strengths, fears, motivators and values to an organisation. It also includes how individuals are likely to behave under pressure, how they are modifying their behaviour in their current role and any current frustrations or problems.
