You can buy SHL ability tests professionally administered by KSL Training by using the 'Add to Cart' buttons in the product table above. Before you order please familiarise yourself with the online testing process, together with the information needed to process your order and our cancellation policy. If you have already purchased a Fast turnaround OPQ test per candidate, you will only need to purchase the 24 hour turnaround Ability Tests, as the additional fee is per candidate not per test.
Purchasing Restrictions
The sale of SHL ability tests is restricted to organisations using the tests as part of their selection or development process. We do not sell ability tests to private individuals. If you are a candidate, we suggest you visit SHL Direct where you can take free SHL practice tests.
About the Tests
The SHL on-line ability screening service tests candidates' Verbal Critical Reasoning and Numerical Critical Reasoning skills at four distinct job roles, as well as the recent addition of the Inductive Reasoning skills test for graduate and managerial roles. The service uses random generation so that each candidate receives a unique test to complete. With literally millions of permutations you can be confident that candidates will always receive a unique set of questions. At the same time a complex calibration process ensures that each test has equivalent testing properties.

Online Testing Process
- Client clarifies order requirements: Inform KSL Training of your Order Requirements by email or telephone
- Client makes payment to KSL Training: Payment can be made using the Google Checkout buttons above or by means of an electronic bank transfer by BACs or CHAPS to: KSL CONSULTING LIMITED (details available upon request)
- KSL Training places order with SHL: SHL requires a maximum of a 24 hour turnaround during the business week in order to process the order and send out an email with a link to the questionnaire/tests to each candidate. The fast turnaround purchase option offers a 3 hour turn around (conditions apply)
- Candidate receives email notification: Candidates are then sent an email from KSL Training outlining the timeframe and the support available followed by an email from SHL with the link to the questionnaire/tests.
- Candidate completes questionnaire/tests: Once the candidate has completed the questionnaire/tests, KSL Training sends an electronic report to the client or the person requested and provides consultancy support around the results.
Information Needed to Process Your Order
To ensure we provide you with the most appropriate ability test, please with the following information after ordering:
- Type of Ability Test - i.e. Verbal, Numerical Critical Reasoning or Inductive Reasoning
- Candidate name
- Candidate e-mail address (held in strictest confidence)
- Candidate potential job role and level being recruited into (see test level for options)
- The industry the candidate is potentially being recruited into (see comparison groups for options)
- Deadline for completion (when results needed)
- Who you would like the Ability Test Report to be electronically sent to
Cancellation Policy
Once an Ability Test has been purchased and your order has been processed with SHL we are unable to refund the cost to you should you or your candidate be unable to complete the online test.
