Carol Muter
Carol Muter, Chartered MCIPD, is a training and development professional based in Davenport, Stockport covering the North West. She has an HR background gained in both the public and private sectors.
Carol has over 15 years experience of working within the voluntary sector where she specialised in recruitment, training and development and one of her greatest joys was seeing volunteers embrace personal development and go on to support people within their own communities. Whilst working within this sector she became a Nationally Accredited Trainer for Victim Support and went on to deliver a range of management training much of which was based on the principles of experiential learning and was person centred in approach.
Carol became a freelance trainer and consultant five years ago and works in a wide range of settings including Housing Associations, National Voluntary Agencies, Local Government and Community Groups. She has even facilitated a community based course with the help of an interpreter.
In addition to developing and delivering a wide variety of courses involving soft skills; Carol has specific experience of working as a Diversity Trainer, with Loss & Grief and Domestic Violence and Abuse. Whilst these subjects can be difficult and emotive, Carol has the ability to be able to facilitate them in a way that is both enjoyable and enabling for participants.
