Bob Bevil
Bob Bevil, is a professional freelance training consultant based in Barnet, Hertfordshire. In 2008 Bob has worked with a number of clients including Royal British Legion Employment Solutions, East Kent Mental Health Authority, Roche, Lundbeck, Bayer Schering Pharma, Eisai, Abbott Laboratories, Ipsen, Janssen-Cilag, Nycomed, Meda, Oxoid and Kyowa-Hakkko.
Bob originally trained as a psychiatric social worker and counselor, practicing in the Kent area. Following a move into pharmaceutical sales in 1995 Bob subsequently moved on to hold senior training and development posts with companies such as G.D Searle, Pharmacia, Takeda, ALTANA, Nycomed and Janssen – Cilag.
Bob's training experience has subsumed a host of stretching challenges including pharmaceutical product launches (Pharmacia, ALTANA), product portfolio training through a merger (Pharmacia), management and leadership training (Janssen – Cilag), design and delivery of competency models with associated training (Takeda, ALTANA) and the building and leadership of the training department in Britain’s fastest growing pharmaceutical company (Takeda).
Bob's area of expertise focuses on those interpersonal skills required to succeed in the workplace and this is reflected in his own credentials. Bob has a degree in Social Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work.
In 2007 Bob was the national runner-up with a special commendation at the Pf (pharmaceutical industry) awards in the sales trainer/coach category. Bob is passionate about ongoing development which is demonstrated by becoming an NLP Practitioner and a Licentiate Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning.
In 2007 Bob also published his first article ("The Enhanced TNA") in "Training and Learning" magazine.
